On this page you find the first key facts for the schedule of the event. We will add more information during the year. Please note, that the event will take place from THURSDAY (17.11.2022) to SATURDAY (19.11.2022).

General Schedule

Wednesday, November 16th
Teams should arrive in Dortmund on Wednesday.

Thursday, November 17th

• 09:00: Venue Open
• 09:00-15:00: Free practice / setup time in all categories
• 15:00-17:00: Welcome activity (see below)
• 17:00-18:00: Opening ceremony followed by dinner

Please note that on Thursday there are coach meetings to share some information and answer questions.
The coach meetings will take place as followed:

• RoboMission: Thursday, 11am, on the grandstand in the back of hall 4.
• Future Innovators: Thursday, 12am, on the grandstand in hall 5.
• RoboSports: Thursday, 11am, in the RoboSports area.
• Future Engineers: Thursday, 11am, in the Future Engineers area.

Friday, November 18th

• 08:30: Venue Open
• 08:30-18:00: Competition in all categories
• 18:00-21:00: Friendship Night including dinner

Saturday, November 19th

• 08:30: Venue Open
• 09:00-12:00: Competition in all categories
• 15:00-17:00: Closing & award ceremony

Welcome activity

We are proud to offer all registrants a special welcome activity on Thursday afternoon. At 15:00 we will all leave the event location together and walk a short distance (about 5min) to the soccer stadium of Borussia Dortmund (SIGNAL IDUNA PARK). There - just for us - a special welcome will take place. Afterwards we will walk together back to the exhibition halls, where the official opening will start at 17:00.

Important notes for this activity:

• In the period from 15:00-17:00 we will be outside the location in probably wintry temperatures (likely 0-10 degrees) and maybe rainy. Please plan on wearing appropriate clothing for this.
• All robots, laptops and other materials of the teams should remain in the location. We will have security watching over the materials and we will return to the exhibit halls afterwards for the opening.
